Some concerned mates. Finger painting, biro, white ink and alcohol marker on A5 recycled cotton rag fair trade paper. Would look lovely framed, keeping a caring eye over you. Message me if you want to buy one.
Avoid diesels, Hyundai/Kia are possibly better than most currently. Sincerely, a Fiat Panda aficionado.
Message from the brother in law today about his new car, traded his Etron GT for a Corvette C8. He’s said the Etron had lost around £70,000 in value in the 19 months he had it, overpriced to begin with or just a lack of demand for second hand EVs?
Almost the last motorsport weekend of the year for me, this weekend at Oulton Park with the SVG Britcar BMW. Tested their new M2 yesterday, but it’s the 135i for today, bonus Fiesta car park content as well

I should probably advertise more often. You can buy prints from me, commission pictures, make 3d models, animation, come up with excellent ideas, all sorts. tell your mates. cheers.
Lingotto, Turin. A Fiat factory built between 1916 - 1923, even the concrete supports are sculpted. A car factory.
That’s down to how it goes off, the charge degrades and fully explodes rather than a quick burn (the burn creates pressure to inflate, the Takata ones just go bang) which makes these fragment, sending shards or metal into the car, this is post-detonation of a 20 year old Fiat one (unknown supplier)
And this is just the detonator out of one we pulled apart manually to see how they were packaged, unreal amount of power just sat in your steering wheel.
In a completely safe environment (we were behind blast screens with full PPE, obvs) we made some old airbags safe today. If you know anyone who sits quite close to the wheel when they drive, advise them not to, they make quite the bang, and the residual heat is impressive
Today’s thing was making the race car lighter… 6 weeks til Mission Motorsports Race of Remembrance at Anglesey, I’m sure there’s plenty to do before then
MOT Tester here, yes it’s annoying that people don’t do properly basic maintenance on their cars, and the replies here back this up “ain’t my problem”.
Also as a tester you don’t have to replace bulbs etc unless your garage has it in place, it’ll still fail as a PRS if done properly
No, we’re not. You get 60 minutes after you’ve “completed” the test to rectify any failures (bulbs, washer fluid, wipers etc) and PRS it. You don’t have to, can happily fail and walk away, but most garages and testers will do these things as people don’t usually question a £3 bulb. Usually.
I still have my brand new Wharfedale speckers I won on eBay for £1 around twenty years ago.
Tonight I shall be enduring “drinks out”. *sigh*, at home I have gin. At home I have favourable company. At home I can sit in my pants without awkward looks.
Post-op check up for Dog, she’s recovering absolutely fine, and the results of the lump included the word “benign”, which is nice.

What would Orwell think about a huge face on a gigantic screen telling a crowd of people they should wage war on foreigners and dissidents? No way of knowing, I guess.
When speaking to Tommy Robinson at the far right demonstration in London today, Elon Musk wore a t-shirt saying "What would Orwell think?"

So let's dive in - what would George Orwell think about Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk? 🧵

"It's not outside interference designed to ruin the uk, it's grass roots British concerns about boats. Anyway shush, here's a South African, illegal US immigrant billionaire who doesn't pay much tax to tell us what to do."

Dog at the vets for a lump removal today, to say I was a tad stressed would be underselling it, she’s 15 and I was terrified. Thankfully she’s fine, just struggling to get comfy (with a chunk cut out of the back of my neck I’d imagine I’d feel similar) wallet lighter, stress lowered.
My very soon to be brother-in-law is raising money and awareness for Cancer Research in memory of his sister, please share and, if possible, donate, thanks!

15 today, and booked into the vets on Monday to have another tumour removed. This time a plasma cell, which apparently is mostly benign and should be a low risk removal. Considering rebranding her a Superleggera with how much is missing now 😂
Visit to the vets for the bellend this evening, a small lump that’s appeared on her neck. Vets fairly confident it’s a mast cell tumour, the same thing that’s responsible for her missing ear. Fingers crossed it’s a fairly benign version this time and will be a simple removal job.
Dog sitter from the weekend sent me these today. As with seemingly everyone who meets her, Lola has another adoring fan, who spoiled her rotten.

So she’s sulked with me since she came back on Monday 😂

15th Solar Orbit for this one next week
