This guy refused to comply with a subpoena to appear before the January 6th Committee. McConnell refused to deal with a SCOTUS nominee. Trump pardons January 6th rioters. Ford pardoned Nixon. Bush pardoned Weinberger. North fell on his sword for Reagan. Another government shutdown ploy.

I look at it this way. She is flawed. This was the first time I ever really heard of her. I like the fact that Norway did not give in to the politics of Netanyahu and Trump. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bobby Kennedy. Even Winston Churchill and Mahatma Gandhi. They all have Abraham Lincoln in common. Those born before Lincoln inspired him to think of the Constitution as an extraordinary framework of self-government. The rest were inspired to follow his lead.

Nobody understood the moments leading into the Civil War the way Lincoln did. Nobody could have held the Union together as Lincoln did. Nobody has tried to pretend that they operate as the Party of Lincoln as America's GOP does. States rights and popular sovereignty operate today as they did then.

I would like to see the Nobel Prize Committee add a new category for the Nobel Peace Price for posthumous persons prior to the establishment of the award itself. I call Lincoln such a candidate.
