I would argue that regular used is the correct term simply because generative AI exists to produce things (text, audio, visual media, etc.) that displace creatives. As a technology it is, by and large, there to suppress creativity and replace it with banality and statistical sameness.

But YMMV!

First: So as has been shown over and over, generative AI is an incredibly environmentally destructive technology. Vegans often justify their stance as being environmentally protective.

Also: Generative AI is regularly used to suppress creatives (such as furries) and enhance fascism (against LGBTQ+)

We had the same saying in the Navy.

But where I come from, people should still value gaining trust from good work and good actions. Even if they're being verified against, earning that trust should be valued and cherished - not dismissed.

An interesting assertion they keep talking about is trust. They explicitly TELL US not to trust them or their product; that they are not trustworthy.

Heads up for anyone who uses @keepassxc.org for password management - they pulled the Fedora/Bazzite thing and are now encouraging AI use. You can see this in the PRs that have been done by Copilot.

Might be time to look for a new password manager that's programmed by humans, not vibe coded.

I read that to mean that the district has to basically go, "You are not being punished for using a pronoun; you are being punished for using a pronoun so that you can hurt another student."

Splitting hairs, maybe, but it refocuses the punishment on the harm done rather than the specific words said.

You may know I work for a law firm. Often times the choices we have to make are AGONIZING. There's regularly not a good answer; at best most times all lawyers can do is minimize harm (present or future; sometimes both, often only one).

Not to defend Ari/FIRE, god no, but more for a little insight.
