i haven’t given ea a single cent, and i don’t have any plans to do so in the future.

if i ever wanna play one of their games, i usually just buy it used. it’s much cheaper, and i get to play the game without giving them money :)

to my surprise, they got back with me! they thanked me for reaching out about the eshop listing, and told me that the game runs in 4k at “up to” 60fps on switch 2, and that they’re working on a patch that will add quality/performance graphics modes in the next few weeks!

the trails in the sky 1st chapter switch 2 edition eshop page says the game has 2 different graphics modes, that aren’t in the game, so i reached out to gungho america to see what was going on.

my favorite system is the switch 2! it used to be the switch 1, but the switch 2 is just a better version of that!

switch 1, ps2, snes, and gamecube are also among my favorites!

least favorite system is the atari jaguar. didn’t have many good games, plus the controller feels uncomfortable to me.

amiibo are made in china.

and because of the very high tariffs that the us government placed on china, nintendo increased the prices of the amiibo to offset the cost of the tariffs.

if not for that, these amiibo would have been $10 cheaper.

and if you’re just getting frustrated waiting for that one game to come out, why not try to broaden your horizons?

maybe try a nintendo game/franchise you haven’t tried before, or maybe one from a third party or an indie developer?

who knows? you might find something you like better.

as for the second one, just be happy that nintendo is making and revealing high quality games in the first place.

they might not reveal the game you want, but the next zelda and the next big 3d mario will come soon enough.

istg most nintendo fans just don’t want to be happy anymore.

they’re always complaining about the prices and that they don’t get the one or two games they want announced.

and yes, the prices are a huge bummer, but this is mostly the current economy’s fault and not nintendo’s.

i feel this price is actually fair

you get to play two of the best 3D platformers ever made in full HD (or 4K if you’re playing on Switch 2) for the price of one modern aaa game

plus they’re adding new storybook content which makes me very happy :)
