Rawst Berries. She loves pranking people with them, particularly if they don't know what they taste like.
2.
Continuing from point one- she actually likes bitter tastes!
1.
Briony likes sweet drinks, but actually adores matcha. Anything alcoholic turns her off.

A cold wind blows through Snowpoint from the south, bringing a familiar chill as the snow falls from above. It was still dark out, and yet the sound of children playing echoed throughout the city.

[ Prologue - Departure ]

A normal day at the Lotus Orphanage. Elaris opened their eyes as the alarm on their clock rang through the room. Their hand soon hitting the top to make it stop, as they remained in the bed, looking up at the ceiling.

They couldn't find a single reason to get out of bed.

A shaky breath escapes the girl, before Meloetta catches her attention again.

With a smile, wiping the tears from beneath her glasses, she looks back to wave goodbye to her father as the small ferry departs, marking the first step in the young woman's long, long journey...
Briony would turn alongside Meloetta, taking off with a light jog toward the docks to catch the ferry.

After showing the ticket to the staff, and getting herself seated with Meloetta, she looks out the window to her side, and rests a hand against the glass as she looks out to her father.
“...know you will, sprout. I know you will.”

After a few moments, and a long, muffled sigh, Briony releases her father from their embrace, looking down to her side upon feeling Meloetta's reassuring grasp on her hand.

...it was time to go. And now, she was ready.
...as much as she wanted to leave, she couldn't just yet.

With one last embrace, holding back tears behind those red-framed glasses of hers, Briony buries her face into her father's shoulder, the other wrapping his arms 'round the girl, rubbing her back gently.

“...love you, Dad. I- I'll be back.”
would first be taking a ferry to Canalave, then a high-speed cruise ship to the docks of Castelia City, all the way in the Unova Region.

Once the two were out of the vehicle, Briony looked to Meloetta, then to her father, who was standing just outside the door of his truck.
taking off with the breeze. He just never knew exactly when it would happen.

“...do you think you're prepared for that, Briony?”

Wordlessly, the greenette nods, looking her father square in the eyes.

Their farewell was a short, but sweet one. Braxton had driven his daughter Jubilife, where she
The question was blunt. Her father never beat around the bush. Wasn't one for needless flourish or excessive outward emotion.

“I-... I wanted to go see where... where Mom was from.”

The words, albeit not visibly, shook Braxton to his very core. He knew it would happen one day, like a Hoppip
He hardly needed an explanation.

Braxton hadn't expected his little sprout to stay in such a small town for her whole life. She wanted- no, needed to get out there, and experience the world beyond the tree line of the town limits.

“...could I ask where, if you've planned that far ahead?”
She looked uncharacteristically determined that day, walking up to her father on a day-off from work, clutching the strap of her bag tightly with Meloetta in tow.

“Dad, I... I'm leaving. On a journey.”

Simple as that. That's how so many of the people passing through town started out. Why not her?
finally arrived.

She had ran by the numbers over, and over again, making sure that she not only had enough money for the trip, but also enough for temporary lodging, basic necessities both for her and Meloetta... and now, she was prepared- at least, as prepared as she could possibly be.
‘You now, Briony... your father and I- we always wanted to take you to Unova.’

It played on repeat, in her head, for years. Years of working at the flower shop, growing and selling vegetables and berries from their own backyard, even helping harvest honey from Combee and Vespiquen, until the day
bid by both him and Briony within the cold, sterile walls of that hospital room.

Years later, the memory was still vivid as the day it happened. Some nights, it played on repeat, along with dreams she couldn't quite make heads or tails out of no matter how hard she tried.
One day, while working at the flower shop, a few years after Briar had been hospitalized, Briony was rushed to the hospital by her father.

Briar was fading, with anywhere from mere moments to hours left in the world.

Braxton was beside himself, hardly able to maintain composure as farewells were
all while tending to the garden and helping at the local flower shop in her mother's stead.

Meloetta had effectively become the child's only friend, keeping her company when alone, singing her to sleep where her mother couldn't, even helping care for the plants left for them by Briar.
Unfortunately, in its later stages, the disease is incurable, and the patient's life can only be extended for so long before their body can't hold out any longer.

Briony was young when this happened, and so, grew up alone in an empty house for years, seeing her father for mere minutes each day,
have been long since eradicated from the Sinnoh Region due to modern medicine. However, Briar Allegro had only lived in Sinnoh for a matter of years, and moved hastily away from her home with her sole Pokémon, Meloetta, without so much as taking even the most basic precautions.
