1. She doesn't have too much experience with beverages, water is pretty good though. Yup.
"Rin's been living with me for a few days now. Her injuries weren't serious...but I'm worried about letting her go on her own. She won't last a day out in the wild."
"It was an accident, forget about it," Ayita says, waving her hand. She does however, move to grip Rin's.

"C'mon though, you've gotta be exhausted. I'll take you to my place, you can rest there for the night!"
"It was really weird. I didn't like it, but I can see why Pokemon might."

Ayita crosses her arms, looking away. It really had been strange...she definitely didn't want to go back in it.

"Does your mother work with Poke Balls?"
"Poke Balls aren't designed for that, are they? I thought they only work on Pokemon?"

Weird. Ayita stood up on her feet. It wasn't like it made a big difference to her in the grand scheme of things. Rin didn't seem to be a bad person.

"That's a pretty serious design flaw."
"Well...I don't have any parents," Ayita would say, letting Rin scoot off her lap. No issue with that, she didn't want Rin to feel awkward.

"If anyone's a parent to me, it'd be Rudey. I've lived out here as long as I can remember."
"Allowed? As long as you aren't food for another Pokemon, then it's allowed."

The question's fine. Honestly, talking with Rin was nice, having a human friend was nice.

"I live in the marsh itself. Hunt for myself, forage for myself, fend for myself..."
Ayita looks at Rin completely clueless.

"I live here," she says, her tone neutral, "I've lived in this marsh for as long as I can remember with Rudey."

It was normal for humans to live in actual houses, but it wasn't like Ayita was a typical human. Most humans weren't raised by Pokemon.
She looks at Rin, looking for some sort of explanation. Rin was the one with the tech knowledge, right? Ayita didn't know anything about human technology!
"Catch...?"

She looks over at the ball on the ground. Those were those devices that humans used to catch things...they caught Pokemon with them, but it had worked on her?

"...wait, you caught me? I'm a human though, I'm not a Pokemon."
prepared to meet a human today, let alone save one.

"What did you do to me by the way? That ball hit me in the head and I just went somewhere else for a bit."

She sits up, still with Rin in her lap.

"Oh, Ayita. That's what I'm called."
It was a life threatening situation sure, but it did feel weird to hear a 'thank you' from someone she barely knew. It was fine though. She'd found a human that didn't look at her like a curiosity or a monster.

"Um. You're welcome," Ayita awkwardly says, unsure of what to say. She wasn't
She's gritting her teeth. Eventually, she's able to get a grip on Rin herself! Leaning forward, hands under her arms as she gives another yank!

"Gotcha! You're gonna be ok!"

Another pull, this time as hard as she can, and Rin ends up getting pulled right out! Right on top of Ayita!
Ayita gives a couple of gentle tugs to make sure Rin's got a good grip, and then starts pulling. Gritting her teeth, that mire wasn't going to let go of her that easily!

"Hang on...you're gonna be ok, just trust me!"
low to the ground for better leverage on the trapped pinkette!

"I'll pull you out, just keep a firm grip!"
Ayita gives it a smile once it returns. Exactly what she needed, it was long enough to reach Rin and it looked sturdy enough that it wouldn't break when pulling Rin out!

"Good. Rin, can you lift your arms out of the mud? Grip onto this branch!"

She extends the branch out to her, keeping herself
Are you this girl's friend?"

A thought comes to her mind. Maybe Chimchar could find a branch she could use?

"Think you can find a big branch? It's got to be solid."
"You're not getting out on your own," Ayita said, staying sitting down. She couldn't exactly get too close either or she'd end up in the muck. What she needed was something for Rin to grab...

Looking around, her eyes fall on the Chimchar.

"Oh, hey I was wondering where you wandered off to.
trailing off as she sees the pinkette in the muck. She's already sank to her shoulders.

"H-hey! Quit squirming, you'll only make yourself sink," Ayita calls out to the girl! "Just stay calm."
What a strange experience! Out of the Poke Ball, the grass skirt-clad redhead appears, still on the ground. She has to take a moment to even figure out what happened, blinking a few times.

"Wha...wait, where am I now?"

Sitting down now on the ground, confused.

"What a weird..." she says,
The ball that hit her wiggled for a fair bit, until eventually stopping entirely. The light on the button, which had been aggressively red, went back to its normal coloration.

Ayita had been caught!
She'd just about poked her head out of the bush when the ball collided with her face. Ow!

Ayita'd have let out a yelp of pain, but she found herself in some sort of...a place of some sort. It felt nice. A jungle environment. There wasn't any buzzing or noise of any sort, just...peace.
chest deep in the mire, and squirming and struggling...all that would do is cause her to sink quicker. She had the look of someone from the town. Why was she out here so deep in the marsh?

She inadvertantly causes the bush to rustle as she sneaks...
snack at this point in time.

...maybe some investigation was in order? The voice wasn't too far away, maybe she could sneak through the undergrowth to see what was going on?

On her hands and knees now, she'd crawl, staying low so as to stay out of sight. Soon, she'd spot her. Already
