I get your point but it still changes nothing. I appear human but underneath I am not. It's similar to being trans, though, it's very different. I don't identify with my assigned gender nor my assigned species.

Ok? That doesn't change the fact that I don't identify as a human. Good for you if you like being a hairless monkey and have no dysphoria from it or dream of anything else but being in my human body feels like prison and always has ever since I was a small child. I fucking hate having a human body.
