I dunno, I feel like anyone who does any kind of creative work with an established NPC will inevitably do at least a little OC-ification of them in the process. And that’s a good thing, as far as I’m concerned! That’s what the “transformative” in “transformative work” means!

Given that Arkin can't write until post-EW and isn't great at it even after, so linkpearls are a necessary evil for urgent calls. Arkin isn't in communication with his mother for most of MSQ, but might use a linkpearl to talk to G'raha, but typically he's kind of old-fashioned about technology.
A #wolqotd - How often does your wol/oc call those not with them in MSQ? Do their families have a linkpearl so that they might communicate easier when far away? Do they refuse knowing that they can be listened in on?
