Speaking to my niece today and trying to explain that she needs to have good manners when asking (telling) you to do something. Said "no" to her because "I only listen to people who say please and thank you".
Dawned on me that I'm teaching her to not listen to people who don't have good manners.

Someone did a (great) piece of research at work. The bottom line is "green open access gets more citations" so now the repository is "cool" again and "needs a revamp".

Trying to make a change to an internal page that will (hopefully) be really helpful for my team. I can not find how the page is rendered so obviously I am having a nightmare.

Had some ibuprofen and can feel the headache leaving. I'm not alone in still feeling a bit "blurry" afterwards am I? Like the headache goes away, but I still feel done in until the next day.

Went on our walk. It did start raining as we arrived, but it wasn't too bad. Also I am still able to comfortably wear shorts which is deffo odd (for me).

Loved my little day with Zach. Let him crawl around in some leaves under a huge tree at the park and he was made up. We also had a little picnic, but that was not the highlight for him.

Somehow left home at 6:30. Started our walk just before 6:45. Still managed to be racing to be out of the way of the park runners at 9:15.
We just about dodged them. The first one was approaching as we stepped off their course.
