I like to use the exaggerated shadow of the nose to divide the face into a side of higher contrast but I guess I fucked up the angle and shape.
Left is old and right is an attempt to fix this.

Not going to lie, I do sometimes get tinges of guilt for making fan art, along with all the other stuff I've done as a result of the game.

I kind of assume this comes from a life-long history of being neglected by people emotionally or something. "Fading into the background" 'cause I don't do anything noteworthy to people.

I shouldn't think this way, but it's rather deeply set.

I mean, logically I agree with you about it. But my emotions are another matter. Instead of feeling good about that, I instead feel as if my subsequent work is just a pale imitation of someone else's, a repetitive image. Like it impacts myself, by removing the uniqueness I thought I had.
