Forgive me for the back-to-back diabetes rants, but
I don't think I'll ever be able to wrap my head around people telling diabetics that when eating at a restaurant they should go the the restroom to check their blood glucose, take insulin, etc. rather than doing so at their table.

Man, I can't express enough just how disheartening it is to have a disease that's nothing more than a joke to most people. Living with it is basically a full-time job in and of itself and all most people have to say about it is that maybe I should just eat better.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I regularly get accused of this and have noticed that "AI detectors" also consistently flag a lot of my old (very much pre-genAI) stuff as AI generated.
Either I'm not that good at this or people are *way* too comfortable being confidently incorrect about making AI accusations. Maybe both? 🤷♂️
