Y'all would have to look up "dysentery" in the school library's 45 pound dictionary, the one chained to a podium
Not if fl you're coming in to empty the coins and fill the candy
2/2 Where do those listeners go now? Repeat the last sentence for every ethnic show. Yes, I listened mainly to the rock music and electronic shows, but WCSB was so much more. As a donor to NPR/WCLV (after they got defunded earlier this year), I’m seriously thinking about redirecting my donation.

1/2 This really hurts. I’ve been listening for 40+ years, and the last couple of days I was getting interference from some awful Canadian Jesus station. What’s really bad is that it served the community much better than “Skippy Jazz.” The German Hour used to pull in more money than any other show.

As I hoard physical media (books, CDs, DVDs) I can’t help but wonder if I’ll end up like Burgess Meredith in the Time Enough at Last episode of the Twilight Zone, but instead of broken glasses I’ll have non-functional media players.
Ok #genx parents... Wtf is with the college board CSS site. Almost every link on here is broken.

Name: Three Mile Island
Programmer(s): Richard Orban
Publisher: Muse
Year: 1980

Never played it back in the day.. probably too much "reading" but should revisit
“I was surprised to learn that there was a Three Mile Island video game, by Muse Software... Three Mile Island, for the Apple II, was published in 1979 and it was followed a year later by Three Mile Island: Special Edition...”

Castle Wolfenstein on the Apple II+ it had a jump scare where SS soldiers would pop into the room you're in and yell. Everything else on the Apple too is too slow to render a jump scare. Even page flipping you knew what was coming. But one of them.. damn I'd fall out of my chair
What was the first video game that scared you?

It doesn't have to be a horror game. Maybe you didn't even play it -- plenty of ads freaked me out as a kid.
On this day 30 years ago Brian Eno's must listen to music was released
Happy #TillysGameversary 🎁 to Windows 95, released on this day, 1995.

Windows 95 was the most expensive meta advertising campaign in history.

An ‘operating system’ built only to market the Weezer single, Buddy Holly, Windows 95 was actually a serviceable OS in its own right, proving quite popular.
And to continue this Win95 Inception... One can honestly say it was Brian Eno's most popular music
