I value truth, I think the bad guys of WWII are bad, and I hate stupidity. These traits make me a liberal by default.

Well, I just crushed my opponent in several elections, he's facing historic unpopularity and the media is reporting on his cruelty and tone-deaf excesses. Might as well surrender!

What we continually hear from the right is that billionaires earn every cents they make, because they're just *that* much better at working than the rest of us.
So what I'm hearing is we could just take every cent they have and give it to the poor, and they can easily become billionaires again.

The White House: Taxpayers won't pay a dime of the $200 million cost of Trump's ballroom.
Also the White House: Trump is paying himself $200 million of taxpayer money because the government noticed him doing crimes. He will donate it to pay for the ballroom.

There is a responsibility that comes with being principled.
If you want to be the party that opposes Nazis, that means the guy with the Nazi tattoo gets told, "Fuck off. You have no place with us. We would rather lose without you than win with you." This is the BARE MINIMUM standard.

Republicans are saying that the government has to be shut down so the liberals can't give undocumented immigrants healthcare.
The correct response to this is: "Why do you value hurting illegal immigrants more than you value a functioning government?"
Use their lies to expose their priorities.

When I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to play Pokémon because my parents read a chain email saying that it was luring us to Satan because pagans used to summon demons called Pika/Chus and make them fight each other.
So, yeah, people in red states are definitely gonna die from this Tylenol thing.

It's gotta really suck to be Satan and know that you're going to be stuck with Trump and all of his enablers for literally forever.

We're living in a reality where Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene are more visible about calling out the Trump administration's cover-up of the Epstein files than Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries put together.
Disgraceful.

Bet a friend $100 that Trump runs for a third term. In retrospect I should have included a clause that him canceling/suspending the election because of something he imagines or incites counts as "running" since I feel like he'll use that to weasel out of paying me.

Andrew Cuomo desperately composing a tweet:
"Hey Zohran, are you feeling fortunate, punk? Are you prepared to rumble? Go ahead and make my date! I'm here to kick gum and chew... Um... Uh... Have you tried waxing it off and on again?"

The horseman of War - Stephen Miller, waging war on Americans to hurt minorities.
The horseman of Famine - Marco Rubio, starving children across the world to death.
The horseman of Pestilence - RFK Jr, bringing back killer diseases.
The horseman of Death - Fat Don himself. Covid was part one.

At the dawn of the internet, young me used to go on chat rooms and be dumb. I remember spamming some user named "Oldguy" and calling him a farty old man a hundred times.
I grew out of that idiocy, which is too bad. If I'd stuck with it I could have had a promising career in Republican politics.

People say that both parties are the same, but only one party hears, "If the Epstein files are released, people in your party will be implicated and face consequences" and considers that a threat to be avoided.

I think it's weird, in this moment, to talk about the media or the DoJ "failing" the people.
To "fail" usually means to make an unsuccessful attempt. And I think it's clear that the New York Times, CBS, and the DoJ aren't trying to do good, and failing.
They're trying do harm, and succeeding.

That scene in every disaster movie where the protagonist looks up and sees a huge swarm of birds fleeing the city to avoid whatever cataclysm is about to happen, but instead it's just one jumbo jet carrying Ted Cruz.

Literally 12 million people marched against King Trump *this month.*
128 Dems just voted against impeaching him for making war against Iran without Congress's consent.
When they talk about "winning people back" they really mean "getting them on our side without giving them anything they want."

Very cool that fascism allows me to add America to the list of places I'm banned from, alongside the Bodleian library and that one Tim Hortons where I tried to cash in a "Please Play Again" rim for a free coffee on the grounds that I couldn't play again otherwise.

Lots to like, lots to kinda go "Well there goes RTD, doing RTD finale stuff" about.
Cautiously excited about where we go from here, though.
