The more I look at this, the more awful things I see!

The proportions are awful! The black guy has never seen his body below his nose unless he looks in a mirror. Why are the heads of the two females bigger than the two huge white guys? What the hell happened to their waist & hips? Arrrrrrrrrrrrghh

I spent a lot of time working out the muscles and perspective of the winged shoulders. I did intend to do really quick painting but those shoulders was the reason why I took on this request and I wanted to make them look good.

This is probably unhelpful:

I've written my steps in each image 'cos there's lots to explain. If there is anything you think I've missed, please let me know. I'm not good at writing as I am with painting.

First WIP of a You and Me request - dragon on the left "ambushing" dragon centre.

First step is a line sketch to use as a guide, next I block in areas with the darkess shade (this may be adjusted later on), use a light colour to block in base lighting, then I switch between a soft & hard brush to merge the shading & lighting. I'll add in other colours - either to match character details (dark blue merging with lighter blues on on blue dragon's forearm and enviromental lighting from other directions (this may not be correct to the actual enviroment but to help define shaded features from other dark areas).

I use multiple layers to seperate character parts to front/behind perspective - example; the neck and shoulder of blue dragon is behind the chest and neck of grey dragon while the blue dragon's bicep, forearm and hand are on one layer in front of grey dragon.

Second WIP of dragon fun times. BTW, program I use is SAI.

Example of merging colours after the initial blocking in light/shades and starting on texturing. I use two brushes - named water colour that's a soft brush good for merging colours and shades together, and the other is paper acryl which is a harder brush good for blocking in colours, defining hard edges and working out the initial facial depth, and muscle definitions, folded skin and bumps.

Third WIP of dragon fun times.

Getting into the advanced stages of texturing. The skin of the blue dragon's head is one layer. I sometimes use a seperate layer for the black scales but keeping both together in one layer is easier for making the texures match between colours.

I do admit it is a difficult way to paint and texture but I find this part of the painting process is really fun for me to do.

On the right side I've largely finished the definition of the grey dragon's face and added in additional colours according to their character ref. I've also begun to add in the short fur texture on places where it would be most noticiable (the wrinkled brown, where the horns begin, the ears).

Some areas are a little rough because this is supposed to be a request and I've already spent too long working on this image, but due to that - if you zoom in - you can see the less developed texturing of those areas compared to parts I spent more time on. Despite that I don't think those areas detract anything from the image as a whole.

I develop adult video games on Steam. I can't find a bank that will actually let me withdraw my money from Steam. Can I get some advice?
Game has sold quite well on Steam. I've got almost £90,000 ready to withdraw after Steam's cut + VAT taken off.

However, it's been 2 months now and I can't find ANY bank in the UK who will let me withdraw my money from Steam.

I've been banned/refused/unable to get a business account with:

Wise
Revolut
Monzo
Monese
Chase
Starling
Nationwide
Halifax
Barclays
Lloyds
RBS

It always comes down to, "Where did you get this money from?"

"It's coming from games I sell on Steam."

"Can we see the store page?"

"Sure."

"I'm sorry, we can't do business with you at this time."

It keeps coming down to a commercial decision purely because I make adult content.

What the hell am I supposed to do? I've pretty much exhausted the whole banking system. I just want to be able to be paid for products I've sold.

Work in progress of a vaguely raptor-shaped chunky-saurus that looks like it has less braincells than a dodo. Going for the modern scales and feathers dinosaur look.

I'm way too busy with other projects at the moment but seeing that chunky boi reminded me of one I did a few years ago and now I'm thinking doing a whole series of chunkisaurus would be quite fun.

A vaguely t-rex shaped dinosaur that's also quite chunky with tiny legs and arms falling over. Has a scalely skin so may not be accurate to real dinosaurs.

I've had a headache on and off all day so haven't done any painting yet. Acid reflux is back to normal though.

I take Omeprazole to keep it under control. Unless I get carried away on chocolate/other-not-good-for-tummies food during the holidays it rarely pops up on it's own at all.

The only downside to the meds if I run out/forget, the reflux comes back with a vengence.
