Our last keynote speaker at #ALIFE2025 is @annaciaunica.bsky.social, who discussed the importance of bodies when talking about intelligence and agency. Her integrative approach shows that we need to adapt and extend the notion embodiedment to reflect the co-autopoietic nature of life.

When one thinks about the formation of life 4.2 billion years ago, there was no brain, but an already complex life including instincts for organization, pattern making, movement, etc. We still contain the early complexity for the foundations of life, but forgot their behavioral implications.
