I watched a YT series by a woman who devoted a month to giving the Bible, prayer & opening herself up to the Holy Spirit a sincere try, and several commenters (thankfully outnumbered by more helpful Christians!) seemed to assume that the first step must be publicly renouncing evolution. Baffling.
