Steven Spielberg's feedback for the Animaniacs episode "Broadcast Nuisance," an episode notorious for undergoing many revisions to be toned-down.

Via Kirk Tingblad's "The Cartoons Of Kirk Tingblad" FaceBook page.
A live-action/animated Pinky and the Brain movie was once pitched by Russell Calabrese and Kirk Tingblad; where the mice become human (still Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche) to take over the world.

When Pinky is shot, Brain chooses to save him over the plan, reverting to mice.
In 2000, Nickelodeon acquired 78 total episodes in their Pinky and the Brain syndication package, encompassing all 65 Pinky and the Brain and 13 Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain episodes.

Elmyra ultimately went unaired on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons.
In "This Pun For Hire" Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen are referred to as "The stuff that DreamWorks are made of." (referencing The Maltese Falcon and DreamWorks)

After the Quibi incident, the Warners would likely regard Katzenberg in a less favorable light.
Warner Bros. DVDs released from 2006-2008 are reported to have succumbed to disc rot due to aluminum corrosion, and have a high chance of not working anymore. Among these sets are volumes 1-3 of Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain.

RUMOR:
New Animaniacs Funko Pops may be releasing soon. These will be the first Animaniacs Pops to be released since 2016. Unclear if the Warners, Pinky and the Brain are re-releases or new variants. Slappy is a new-addition to the line.

The banner art for Pinky and the Brain has mysteriously updated... on Hulu? The series left the channel in 2023, with the other 1990-1999 WBA/Amblin productions.

The series page on Hulu remains inactive, but the updated banner art raises some questions.
Animaniacs was represented in MultiVersus through stages and references. One stage was the Water Tower on the WB studio lot, and the other was a planned ACME Labs map.

No playable Animaniacs characters were ever added to the game, ultimately just represented by cameos.
Rest in Peace, Dick Button.

Multiple scripts for episodes of Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain have been unethically used to train AI programs. Ironically, one of those episodes is "A Legendary Tail" which makes fun of the concept of computer-generated writings.

In "Hooked on a Ceiling," Michelangelo is characterized as a caricature of actor Kirk Douglas, being voiced by Maurice LaMarche.
He has also repurposed the impression for other characters, most notably the villainous Father in Cartoon Network's Codename: Kids Next Door.
On this day in 2020, the Animaniacs reboot premiered on Hulu (US) and Teletoon (Canada).
A new era of zaniness was ushered in for the Warners, Pinky, and the Brain. The series ran from 2020-2023 at 3 seasons and 36 episodes. Happy anniversary!
