Yeah, literally the only way i have been using it is just to keep up with friends and artists, generally via notifications and avoiding the "for you" page or whatever
As a small aside, i tend to avoid trying to go "you didn't leave, so you must be X" type stuff too, since it's very knee-jerk.

The scale of this app is also simply just smaller (on the surface): Taking myself as an example, roughly only 1/5 artists I follow have an account here, let alone post with parity on the other site.

Those that didn't, probably think this site is either only a temporary solution or wasn't going to take off. Even with those that did, not all of them post as often here as they do there; There are many accounts that just don't bother posting here as often, so there's still a reason to go there 2/?

Yeah, most of this post is fear mongering. The royalty free license to copy & modify our content is a legal permission for them to host your posts on the website. It's required if you want to be able to post on a website and have it displayed by the website.

As operating safety, you should probably assume that every site you use will, at some point in the future, decide to retroactively change their terms of service to claim ownership of everything you previously shared there.
