Hi everyone! Been holding off with my first post because there is so much stuff I like I want to mention. I finally narrowed it down to some foxes, Magical Girls, Anime Idols, and Nintendo owned series.

My favourite themes are wholesome, whimsical, sci-fi, fantasy, and foxes.

Cute foxes: Star Fox, Pokemon, Rune Factory, Story of Seasons, Solatorobo, Kamisama Kiss, Inu x Boku SS, Kakuriyo Bed and Breakfast for the Spirits, Konohana Kitan

Idols anime: Macross, Love Live, Pripara, Idolmaster
Magical Girls: Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon, AKB0048, Symphogear

Favourite Nintendo owned series: Star Fox, Splatoon, Xenoblade, Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Style Boutique, Silly Mii games

What made Frontier's love triangle so good was all three loved each other. To the point I still wonder if the actual movie ending is Sheryl x Ranka. Second movie they added in duet concert footage for the credits, certain art of them both too, and in sequel LoT they got rainbow outfits. 🤔

EoW makes sense where it is placed on the timeline.

As for BotW and TotK there isn't really a place that would make sense. World in those games goes with Wind Waker but they added in story that makes it near impossible. Bascially created a situation where they need another game to place those two.

I am shocked that you guys thought there was a series reboot from series timeline layout. Considering all variations of Hyrule's creation story. 🤔

The official Zelda site does have the timeline up. I can't see BotW and TotK on it. More likely they just not placed them yet. zelda.nintendo.com/about/

Seeing someone post obscure poster art reminded me of Ranka in pigtails. This artwork is used in Macross Frontier series. One of Ranka's concerts. Bonus pic of Alto watching said Ranka's concert.

Worth noting a few WiiU games have this mode already.

Easy to forget WiiU was also a duel screen console. Aside from the odd games like Star Fox Zero not that many needed you to look at both screens.

A lot of early Switch 2 games likely started off development as a Switch 1 game. It can take years to develop a game. Likely main reason games become Switch 2 exclusive is to do with the power needs. Would take more work to get it to run fine on Switch 1.

The two that come to mind are...

The Spirit Trials from Skyward Sword.
The giant hands in Twilight Palace from Twilight Princess.

No good defence besides running, and getting caught means redoing it all so they really builds up my anxiety.

Other stuff tends to have a way to deal or avoid it.

Love to have more fox Pokemon get mega evolutions. Delphox is getting one. My preferred choice would be Ninetales for both Fire and Ice. More likely to be Eevee due to popularity.

I want Krystal from Star Fox series in the most. Has potential to be unique, and the series main female character.

Legend of Zelda we already got the main male and female duo, and main villain. So nothing really sticks out to me in the same way. Not one that may take a slot from another series.

Main reason people remember Robotech now is because it is why we don't have and won't be getting content for Macross SDF and DYRL. Rest is fine and up for streaming on Disney+/Hulu. Currently got a 3 series first episodes on the official YouTube.

I would love to see Krystal from Star Fox series. When it comes to Zelda not sure anyone really sticks out.. At least ones that aren't a variation of Link or Zelda.

From my understanding..

Frontier was meant to be more of a school drama. Considering other similarities more would not be surprised if EVOL is closer to what he wanted to do.

Delta's original idea was to be closer to a sports type anime. Focus on the relationships between the pilot and their idol.

With Macross they have tried to drop a couple of the aspects. Also creating something not uncommon they go through a number of iterations.

I think with Frontier and Delta there was some internal conflict over that. With Frontier it happened during production. Delta was more beforehand.

I heard Delta was not originally meant to have conflict. I knew they planned for it to be smaller and had to rush in extra episodes.

Frontier series did not feel that improvised to me. It felt more rushed towards the end.

I knew it was Frontier but because thinking of similarities so I went with series. 🤦‍♀️

I believe Frontier was originally meant to be more of a school drama. My guess is that there was conflict with the production staff. They had other ideas basically. Likely that is what happened with Delta too.

I don't think it is hate as much as they needed a love rival. They created her for that role alone. That is all she is. Bad planning if anything.

For that reason I feel worse for Ranka. She was downgraded in movie version. Her role was removed and chunks of her plot removed/shortened.

Aquarion EVOL and AKB0048 I believe were made around the same time as Macross Frontier series. EVOL in particular shares a good few similarities with Frontier. Makes me wonder if EVOL is actually closer to the original intention for Frontier.

To clarify about the event it the long running one for the streamed model show. They do show off stuff besides model kits. Most likely out of the two listed events. Actually have a new fun song for it. 🤣

Robotech is an edit of three different anime. One being Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Aimed at a younger American audience and to be played on TV. Most of this scene was obviously edited out. So you definitely did not see this in the Robotech edit. 😹
