The two things everyone forgets about The Crisis are that 1.) was mostly a huge marketing gimmick ("DC Comics has too many universes" WASN'T a thing anyone was really talking about, culturally) and 2.) MOST of the big post-event "It's so new now!"-adjacent material floundered or failed outright.
