This will be the final death knell to small businesses (like mine) exporting to the EU that have so far survived Brexit. But the Labour government is just as ignorant as the Tories. You just want to scream.

It is not an overstatement when I say that I could genuinely weep: this is 100% the *exact opposite* of what they need to do: you cannot out-Reform the Reform Party. The only thing this will do is drive more voters to Reform: voters always choose the original. *Every* bit of research shows that. 🧵

German MPs have been briefed by the Federal Civil Protection Agency that if Ukraine crumbles within the next 6 months, millions of Ukrainians will head West. The official estimate: 10 million, 2 of them to Germany. Unofficial: up to 18 million, 3-4 million to Germany 1/
