It's been a month and a half since we in the most timely fashion decided our awards for 2024 in film. Would you like to see the winners in threaded social media post form?
Curious why we skeeted this nearly 2 weeks ago? Then you clearly haven't listened to our RIGHT ON TIME episode where we jury out our 2024 AWARDS!

Took them so long to renew it the show is now going to be titled "Senior Citizens" heyoooooooooo!
In other good renewal news, FX ordered a second season of Adults. I really enjoyed the twentysomething hangout comedy's first season, and am looking forward to more.

It disgusts me that all the sports seasons overlap now. Sloppy. Weakens all of them. Makes fools of us all. Scripture tells us to every season and such

I loved Kathryn Bigelow's A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, a film that a lot of people seem to be interpreting as a fantasy (read: propaganda) of American power and competence, when in fact it is the exact opposite of that. www.vulture.com/article/revi...

Essential reading and an incredible portrait by @roxana-hadadi.bsky.social of Jafar Panahi and the movie of the year (imo!!), IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT
Since his 2010 imprisonment, the director has been in an endless game of chicken with the Iranian regime. In his defiant new film, ‘It Was Just an Accident,’ a group of Iranians consider killing the man who tortured them in prison.
