Ok, so Limbaugh & Fox filled a void that rural America was hungry for. Are you suggesting Democrats should fill the same void? I’m not quite understanding what you think would work.

We are in late stage capitalism. If there was a buck to be made in Dem media in those markets it would happen.

What makes you think an actual liberal propaganda infrastructure would be effective?

I can’t speak for other states, but the two senators from Oregon spend a lot of time in rural Oregon doing Town halls.

It’s no match for Fox News and Facebook. The early damage was done by Rush Limbaugh and a.m. radio. There is such a visceral hatred for liberals and Democrats.

I grew up on a third generation cattle and alfalfa Ranch in eastern Oregon. I’ve been around rural farmers my entire life I’m very aware of the damage Fox News has done since 2008.
