Agree with this. He can play as a 6 or an 8. If we’re aiming for European football every season then we need variety and competition for places. EA would also help us in the transition to a more possession based team. I know we had little choice but I’m gutted we sold him.

We definitely need some back up/competition for both full back slots. Tripps will be a great coach, I think. I guess the club will make a decision on him at the end of the season.

When there’s no european football it feels like the games are far too far apart. And international breaks breaks are painful. However, I also agree that when there two games a week it all feels a bit much to process. I’m probably just fickle though !

He looks hugely impressive so far doesn’t he ? I can’t quite think of another forward like him. But I think it’ll take time to adjust and get the best out of him / max benefit to the team. There were times when he looked frustrated with how he was receiving the ball against Bournemouth.

Thanks for this. I’ve just seen that he made 78 EPL starts for us in total so 30 more PL starts since that stat was put up. It still makes for interesting and optimistic reading though. I’m looking forward to seeing how we develop as a team with Woltemade a a deeper forward.
