I suspect the “Confused By Pronouns” and “Afraid To Make A Mistake” narratives are the gateway drug to full on transphobia and should be challenged whenever you hear them.

Allowed my Duolingo subscription to lapse.

Although I’ve kept the streak for 2256 days through a combination of Japanese (finished the course), Chess and German. I just don’t feel like I really understood much, it falls apart whenever I try to read or have someone speak Japanese with me.

Back in October I got a chance to ride on the Wuppertal Schwebebahn, the suspended monorail train. Love the way this travels above the river, feels like flying.

Still as true as ever! If you only buy from Amazon, that's all there'll be.

➡ Small businesses only stay open because of your purchases. Even small orders count. ⬅

Christmas shopping's the perfect time to support small businesses - they rely on your support, & every order helps keep them open. 💖🎁

I'm still looking, and still don't have a date for when will have to move out (but before xmas). Would prefer #Brighton / #Hove but also consider surrounds. Ideally longer term, although I am open to short term lets.
Landlord has accepted an offer on the house. Anyone know of good properties (either 1 bed or house shares) open for rent around December in #Brighton or surrounds?

This is like the inverse of Mr Burns sun blocker in the Simpsons.
A US tech bro corp in the US has decided the night sky should go away. They've made that decision for everyone on Earth.

Naturally they've named the first searing orbital array (many times brighter than the moon) after Eärendil, the light bearer, from Tolkien's work

Reflect Orbital says their light-on-demand idea has generated significant interest from commercial and government customers.
