I get that addiction is real and deserves empathy…but if you’re rushing to the defense of Hegseth because he’s got a drinking problem you need sit this one out. Having empathy doesn’t mean letting someone drunk text national secrets without consequences. That’s enabling.

If the Trump admin really wants to increase the population of America they should consider loosening immigration standards taking a leading role in a more open and collaborative global order.

The reason @sanders.senate.gov and @aoc.bsky.social are dominating the discourse so much on the left is because they’ve stepped into a vacuum. Think others should look at them and go “oh look THERE IS DEMAND FOR OUR IDEAS” rather than shitting on the 2 people playing offense instead of cowering.
