Having a blast exploring Philly before the Cuse game. For those wondering, we’ve seen a few Cuse fans, but more Philly residents asking “why are there so many Syracuse people here?”

I am once again here to tell people who live in the urban Northeastern Corridor that Amtrak is criminally underrated. On my to Philly and get an easy 90 minute ride!

Pretty cool that 12.99 will now get you access to a mind bending drama based on highly structured and inscrutable rules with themes of identity and free will set to a backdrop of corporate desperation and overreach and also severance is on there I guess
NEWS: MLS will no longer be behind a separate paywall on Apple TV beginning in 2026.

At just 23 years old, Paul Skenes captured the 2025 NL Cy Young Award by unanimous vote.

To understand how Skenes reached the peak of the profession, The Athletic spoke with nine of his current and former catchers, covering every level from youth ball to the big leagues.

If you know me, I’ve spent a decent chunk of my career inside the sports gambling industry. As I am about to close that door, I wanted to take some time and write about my feelings and thoughts on the whole thing within the context of recent scandals. open.substack.com/pub/acpregle...

Also all three Absolute Trinity Vol 1 trades are amazing in their own ways and are really one of the best comic lines I’ve seen in my lifetime as a reader and collector.

I just finished Absolute Wonder Woman. It’s so good, and beautiful in a way only a Wonder Woman book can be.

MLS is moving to multiple divisions and a playoff format where if you lose against good teams you drop down and play bad teams. What if they combined these ideas? Top teams play against each other in one division, and the losers drop to a worse division next season — could be really innovative

Honestly, one of the things that's most shocked me about the last 10 years is the revelation of how many highly-educated elite white men who self-identify as moderates, liberals, and/or Democrats, still seem to be 100% on board with race science and masculine superiority.
How dare you imply that our friendship was based on leering at teenage girls, it was based on sorting races into C, B, A and S tiers

I received this email about Democrats caving to end the shutdown from one of the SNAP recipients I spoke to:

I do not think how many people really know how many people they interact with daily are “freelance.”
Much like SNAP, people really do not know how many of your freelance peers are on Medicaid or the subsidized tier vs ACA.

LITERALLY HOURS. THEY COULD HAVE WAITED HOURS.
BREAKING

The 1st Circuit REJECTS Trump DOJ's request to pause a judge's order to pay up Nov's SNAP funds to the states.

The SCOTUS stay will expire within 48 hours absent further action from the justices, per its terms.

With Cornyn MIA & still not voting, votes can still be changed. An effective leader would be burning up phone lines trying to flip one of the Dems who voted yes to kill this deal.

So, what’s Schumer doing right now?

this is just screaming into the ether but it needs to be said as much as possible: if you are not backing up words with actions, you will be primaried. if you do not speak words against fascism and for affordability for those in 99%, you will be primaried.
November 10, 2025 at 3:04 AM
the narrative that Zohran broke Schumer isn't true, but is pretty "laugh or we cry" considering that the latter is pulling a Cuomo and turning republican instead of just trying to help any family making less than half a mil a year
