Tragic news tonight, one of the bikers who frequent the pub I drink in has sadly died after an accident on his bike. Nobody else involved, just an unfortunate accident.

I think apathy is hugely damaging. Not bothering to take interest. I see messages on here about being fed up of politics. Which I get. But people need to have their eyes wide open now more than ever. Reform getting into power with 25 to 30% of the vote is crazy. Considering how extreme they are.

It’s always struck me - particularly in recent years - that some people are always looking for something or someone else to blame for their own inadequacies and shortcomings. It’s the Farage’s and Jenrick’s of this world who are the trigger for this, then the dominoes tumble.

My local rugby club has gone completely cashless due the charges for handling cash by the banks and insurance costs for having cash on the premises and cover for transporting cash to a bank. The bank they bank with have closed their local branch. Card payments have become cheaper than handling cash.

That crossed my mind but I’ve felt rough ish after every one so far. Mind you, this year is different to the last few because they’ve changed the rules on the Covid eligibility so I didn’t get that this time.

As mentioned earlier, I had my flu jab this morning. Apart from a very minor tenderness at the site the needle went in there’s been absolutely no adverse effect. I usually feel ‘flu ish’ but I feel fine, nothing at all. Why would it be different this time around?
