My only complaint was I felt the story's maybe a little too short, but even when I got to the controversial bit, I was baffled by the out of context reactions. It wasn't even that bad.

Outside of that, rest of the issue was fun; I especially loved the DD/Green Arrow and Jeff the Shark/Krypto ones.

Yeah, say what you want on the og being dated, but i find it a fascinating time capsule of a filmmaker wanting to push CGI at the time and left an impact (hell, it definitely inspired early Pixar). Kosinski was a first time director on Legacy and that looked incredible. bsky.app/profile/supe...

I remembered a decade ago banking hard on wanting to do a third Tron movie and set to start filming, but then Tomorrowland flopped and they were like “yeah, never mind. Let’s focus on Marvel and Star Wars instead.”

It’s true that Tron is very niche (the biggest pitfall of the series is the writing’s kinda eh) yet the Grid and also the filmmaking of both films was always massively interesting to me growing up that it always made me want to explore more.

Ares just doesn’t have much of an interesting style

The biggest downfall with Ares besides Leto is that the film lacked any interesting hook or interest.

Legacy felt like an innovative reinvention of the og film and backed by a really strong visual/sound identity. All Ares had was “what if Tron in our world?” and not much else.

I never told my family that I'm bi, but he was the one I would've felt the most comfortable telling cause he even openly liked talking about LGBTQ+ topics in shows he liked.

Also another funny thing is if you bring up politics to him, he will make it about Trump and wish he got the chair already.

He was one of the funniest and interesting guys I knew. Gave me really good advice whenever asked for questions, talked a lot from how he grew up, introduced me to music tv and film and constantly supportive. He was chill.

Hell, he's the one guy I could talk to about LGBTQ+ topics casually.
