i’m just heartbroken i’m always stuck leaving my babies home and when i make all the needed preparations to bring them somewhere, someone else ruins is and acts like im at fault for their lack of control

savannah is so dog friendly but no one pays any attention to their dogs so when their dog crosses all the lines of mine and mine reacts they get mad at me. i’m just so frustrated. my dogs deserve to go out with me and have fun

i’m doing everything right and this is my one night to go out and see friends and random people who cannot read always ruin it. i need it as a safe place cos everywhere else in the city people are even worse with their dogs

but they were like oh no so i got up and left and then loudly exclaimed maybe next time people would read my posts. this is an event for the adopted dogs and i can never seem to bring mine and have people that pay attention to their dogs so im the bad guy and i have to leave

But naturally i get there and 4 people came who did not rsvp or post about their dog or even read my post. one lady paid no mind to her puppy and let her get in my bobos face and bobo warns one time, he already had so he barked and kinda snapped. he does it to scare not attack

so for tonight i rsvp’d at 8 am and posted i was bringing bobo and his special needs and asked to let this be a bobo might so no others. only J and E had rsvpd so i figured we were good and we rarely have more than the regulars like never

My Bobo is really special but basically he doesn’t want other dogs in his face and the regulars all know him well and his uniqueness and love him for it. they also understand how to care for their dog in public and keep them close and controlled and out of peoples business

I used to foster what we call unicorns aka dogs that need to be the only pet but we started doing medical fosters and foster failed two - meet Reeve and Bobo. reeve has been attacked and now is ify with females and is crazy so i tend not to even try with her

she makes event posts and asks all to post what dog they are bringing on the off chance there are none so she can bring hers. I typically always have a foster with me and make sure to post but my fosters are always super friendly to all (this is important later)

B E J L N and I are the regulars. B kinda runs this event and started it as a way for us to get together with our personal dogs cos every other event is trying to get dogs adopted. B has a lovely dane who is older and can’t handle the event so sadly she never can bring a dog

So some background info is needed. I live in savannah ga, i teach for a virtual school from home and am a huge volunteer with renegade paws rescue (love them to death, come to us for any dog needs seriously). 2 years ago i started going to bar trivia every tuesday with some rpr people
