I can't stand when people, especially other trans people, refer to someone's voice as "clocky" because even as a joke, it automatically assumes their voice is wrong in some way.
Let trans women have deep voices if they want to, and stop making them feel like they need to change it.

I want to make it clear I'm all for voice training!
But there's so many things you can change with your voice, your cadence, how you say words, etc, as opposed to just "doing a girl voice" which if it's not in your range often times just sounds like a very gay man. (from pers. experience)

I think one of the most dangerous things we do to our own is telling other girls how to be trans.
Policing how we sound and peer pressuring into voice training is a microaggression not talked about enough, and it sucks when it comes from within your own community.
