Maybe it’s just the Humanities professor in me, but let it be noted that events of today (ahem) have demonstrated the value of being able to assess a large volume of qualitative data and do careful textual analysis with deep attention to context.

Most of the US is spared the ugliness of a paramilitary presence, being surveilled by facial recognition and StingRays, seeing neighbors thrown to the ground and taken away to inhumane conditions.
But when you are able to see it, it's hard to call it America. And there's nothing "Great" about it.

A Mass for All Saints at Broadview where again access was refused to bring Eucharist to detainees though all of DHS's protocols were observed. I would guess >1000 souls there to bear witness.
