Depends what you are maximizing for? If you are maximizing for the lock not getting cut, there is no substitute for a grinder proof lock. But they are heavy and expensive. Folding locks are much more convenient, but breakable if someone wants to steal your bike

The fuck is wrong with people. Sorry Erin
I feel like when they have these tricks/traps it's usually 3 that seem obviously connected but not 4
CONNECTIONS SPOILERS

Whoever designed today's NYT connections messed up bad by putting these in here and calling this group a mistake!
I just got a new Tile to replace an old one that broke, only to find that the battery is no longer replaceable. The company's explanation for this is... Kind of psychotic!

Seems like healthcare lobbyists could kill the Big Beautiful Bill if they wanted to... But I guess execs wants that sweet sweet tax cut even if it means millions of patients lose access to care or a bunch of rural hospitals shut down
Fun to see the 15th St bike lanes get a glow up ahead of pride!
Just because you have standing doesn't mean you win (or even get any meaningful relief). Frivolous litigation exists and the courts already have tools to deal with it. IMO it's a bigger problem that so much unlawful government action can go unchallenged because of standing doctrine.
I think the emoluments provision is not strong enough. Whatever strengthening of the emoluments clause were to happen should require divestment of outside financial interests and have a judicial enforcement mechanism that isn't reliant on Congress or the executive.

I did not know this about Wisconsin and it is extremely funny and absurd. My favorite thing I've learned this week, easily.

Embarrassing that this lawsuit had to be brought by a handful of individual small businesses. What exactly is the point of the Chamber of Commerce if it can't bring itself to fight the single most significant and economically destructive government action of any of our lifetimes?
Thrilling to join so many of my fellow paid protestors this afternoon. In this economy you've got a take whatever work you can get.
Just catastrophic. The Court is basically saying that the government gets to illegally terminate thousands of contracts at one time, with no individualized determinations, but litigants have to challenge the government's decision in piecemeal litigation. Brutally asymmetric.
Absolutely catastrophic
Dems need to focus energy on bringing independents & Rs into the coalition to save American greatness. So far I don't see good evidence that Dems are expanding the map or the coalition in ways that are different from the patterns since 2016. And that's just not gonna be enough. /4
Dems winning the House without putting real pressure on the Senate is just not going to be good enough. If this country is in a perilous moment of crisis, it will take more than the 2017/18 pattern of Mobilizing The Resistance to set us on the right track. 3/
