It's so dumb it hurts.

Miami, SMU, Pitt, Louisville, and Georgia Tech were all better teams than Duke and missed out because of tiebreakers.

Virginia beat Louisville; didn't play the other four.
Duke lost to GT; didn't play the other four.
The ACC has a top-10ish team but the league might miss the CFP because that team didn't play for the title, because the conferences are too big and the ACC's best teams barely played each other at all.

Just scrap college football and rotate the national championship between Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State. That’s what the powers that be want.

It can be called the FIFA Peace Prize CFB National Championship.

Congrats to the UConn Huskies, the ACC Champions via the transitive property.

That's the ending the ACC deserves.

Feel bad for Tony Elliott and UVA though.

That's a rough penalty to take there.

Virginia WR Eli Wood before tonight: 9 receptions, 104 yards, 1 touchdown.

Comes up huge in the biggest moment of the season.

OMG VIRGINIA

It’s really going to happen, isn’t it? Duke is really gonna win the ACC after a 7-5 season.

Things that could ONLY happen in the ACC.

Maybe it will force the conference to reassess its tie-breaking procedure’s.

The 2017 Auburn team had better wins—and better losses—than the 2025 Alabama team.

Auburn won the Iron Bowl then lost 28-7 to Georgia in the SEC title game.

Alabama made the CFP over Auburn & won another national championship.

And Alabama made the field over 13-0 FSU in ‘23.

Why’d Alabama even go to Atlanta? Hang a “Beat Georgia in Athens” banner and call it a season.

Gtfoh with this nonsense. This is nonsense.

I have said multiple times this year and I’ll say it again: the BCS was better than this.

College football is the only sport where what happens on the field doesn’t really matter, according to the CFP committee and some analysts.

Why have the games? Award the title in September based on preseason rankings.

The argument that has been pushed pitting Notre Dame against Miami for a CFP shot has always been a bogus one.

Both of those teams are better than Alabama, period.

But the committee obviously will do everything to ensure the Tide get in.

The Steelers have elevated WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling and OT Dylan Cook from the practice squad to the active roster.

Cook will be the team’s swing tackle with Calvin Anderson out this week and Andrus Peat starting at LT in place of Broderick Jones, who is on IR.

Is Bryce Harper getting plasmapheresis? I just woke up and don’t have my glasses on but oh god, is this a trend now?
I don't even know how to joke about this

What if the Steelers head brass wasn’t really focused on 2025? What if the goal was always focused on 2026 and acquiring talent through the draft (hence stacking comp picks)? Just thinking out loud…
December 5, 2025 at 11:30 PM
The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman asked coaches who played both Notre Dame and Miami which team is better.

I wonder which unnamed head coach gave these quotes… 🤔🤔🤔

Steelers safety Kyle Dugger is out for Sunday’s game at Baltimore with a hand injury.

Jalen Ramsey was limited on Friday after having rest days the last two days.

So the safety position is looking a bit shaky against the Ravens.

Arrington says Jay Paterno was using Terry Smith as a pawn for his real agenda, clearing Joe’s name.

“What is it exactly does he want to happen so he can leave us alone? I just wish Jay Paterno & Lubrano could go somewhere & never come back to the Penn State community.”
December 5, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Godspeed, Matt Campbell

Here’s PSU alum LaVar Arrington on the influence the Paterno family still has around the Penn State football program:

“Jay Paterno was basically at the center of politicking to get James Franklin out in the first place…”

Whole thing is worth a listen, as is the next clip:

Steelers rookie CB Donte Kent has sustianed a new injury since returning to practice.

He will miss the remainder of the 2025 season.

They could have NOT fired the guy who went 34-8 over the last three seasons & was two plays away from the national championship game last year.

They also could have hired any number of coaches who have since been hired elsewhere.

But the spectacle is more entertaining so 🤷🏻‍♀️
