The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman asked coaches who played both Notre Dame and Miami which team is better.

I wonder which unnamed head coach gave these quotes… 🤔🤔🤔

Steelers safety Kyle Dugger is out for Sunday’s game at Baltimore with a hand injury.

Jalen Ramsey was limited on Friday after having rest days the last two days.

So the safety position is looking a bit shaky against the Ravens.

Penn State Trustee Anthony Lubrano (who LaVar Arrington called Jay Paterno’s “crony”) also wanted to name the field at Beaver Stadium after Joe Paterno. When Penn State agreed to name it after sponsor West Shore Home, this was how Lubrano responded:

Lubrano did, yes. When Penn State agreed to name it West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium with West Shore Home giving the program $50 million over 15 years, this is what Lubrano said:

Arrington says Jay Paterno was using Terry Smith as a pawn for his real agenda, clearing Joe’s name.

“What is it exactly does he want to happen so he can leave us alone? I just wish Jay Paterno & Lubrano could go somewhere & never come back to the Penn State community.”

Godspeed, Matt Campbell

Here’s PSU alum LaVar Arrington on the influence the Paterno family still has around the Penn State football program:

“Jay Paterno was basically at the center of politicking to get James Franklin out in the first place…”

Whole thing is worth a listen, as is the next clip:

They could have NOT fired the guy who went 34-8 over the last three seasons & was two plays away from the national championship game last year.

They also could have hired any number of coaches who have since been hired elsewhere.

But the spectacle is more entertaining so 🤷🏻‍♀️

We can only hope! It appears he paid for a money spell from some Etsy witches? In hopes he can fund a new contract for Matt Campbell at Iowa State, I guess?

Aaron Rodgers on his comments re:
players not attending film sessions:

“What I was talking about was...We have our meetings on Thursdays. I meant that everybody come there with an open mind, be self-critical, work on the things you got to work on & get better…”

Steelers WR Calvin Austin on the boos & “Fire Tomlin” chants:

“We ain’t meeting the standard…fans are expecting to see a certain thing. It’s our duty to provide that. It’s as simple as that. As fans, they come here to cheer us on. We’re not giving them nothing to cheer about.”

Aaron Rodgers is onto @cartercritiques.bsky.social!

“I know what you’re trying to ask. I’m not going to go down that road at all. I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in Mike Tomlin, that’s why I came here. Players need to take accountability, myself included and I will…”

TJ Watt: “Right now, we don’t have a kick-ass defensive group and that’s all I can speak on.”

TJ Watt: “It was an ass-kicking in all areas.”

TJ Watt on hearing Steelers fans boo during “Renegade” and chant “Fire Tomlin.”

“I’m just focused on what we can do better as a defense.”

Mike Tomlin on the Steelers fans chanting “Fire Tomlin”:

“Man, I share their frustration tonight, we didn’t do enough. That’s just the reality of it.”

Steelers-Bills halftime stats:

Bills have the edge everywhere but the scoreboard right now.

The Steelers have the edge in one category--turnovers.
