Some researchers, like myself, care about knowledge production and finding the "right" answer.
Others care more about getting a publication based on saying that others are wrong rather than engaging in a discussion about what the current state of knowledge is and whether it needs to be corrected.

Still no visa decision.
It has now been long enough that I’m “allowed” to contact UKVI
HOWEVER, they also say that no one will actually be able to tell me how long it will take to get a decision so basically f*** off and keep your life on stand by indefinitely.

Last week I paid quite a lot of money for an expedited visa process so I can finally get my UK visa and stop stressing over it.
The response from UKVI was that my visa cannot be processed within the standard processing time with zero added info on why or how long it would take.

The only thing causing autism (or ADHD for that matter) is natural selection. There is a reason these types of traits exist, they benefit the entire population. Like, honestly, who do you think came up with the first written alphabet or counting system? 8/x

Seriously, and I cannot emphasize this enough, fuck this guy. He's a modern day Josef Mengele. Neurodiversity is part of human biodiversity. Autistic traits were evolutionarily selected for. They exist in every population, which means they existed when our ancestors left Africa millennia ago 7/x
