Cheering from the penthouse while democracy falls is a short-term thrill.

Eventually, gravity kicks in.
It's a long way down when you’ve spent decades cutting the safety net.

That is a risky venture. Being candid: many very new guys end up flaking or having changes of heart, and then the established creator has spent time and energy with nothing useable.

Don't let your member of Congress get away with just saying nice things. Speeches at #NoKings are like strongly worded letters to Trump: they might make someone feel better, but they don't accomplish real change.

Let your member of Congress know you want to see actions, not speeches and letters.
