I profiled Azzi Fudd.

After all the injuries and doubt, and dealing with that as her life became more and more public, here's a story of getting back to once was — mentally, physically — then becoming even better: www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2025/...
Azzi Fudd was a can’t-miss basketball star. Then she had to prove it again.
Injuries and self-doubt nearly derailed a prodigy. Now in her final college season, she has rediscovered just how good she can be.

I failed my first college-level calculus class (as a declared math major), and to cheer me up, my best friend dragged me down to the weekly meeting of the student newspaper where I was assigned a story that ended up on the front page the following week 😅

Honestly if you're going to take away anything it's this.

These aren't ethical people and they were upheld by people who didn't really care that they weren't ethical. And that's damning for journalism
The more Lizza writes the more he indicts himself in serious ethical lapses but there are a lot of editors and publishers who are complicit here, too.

The whole thing is just gross.

(And shout out to the serious journalists who do good work. You deserve better peers and a healthier industry.)

Since someone cracked and took one for the team, it's clear that Ryan Lizza reversed convention and put the most explicit (and scarring) content in front of, not behind, the paywall.

But this is a major new accusation of Nuzzi killing stories (and more) for RFK Jr.

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

Tbh I'm surprised there are still scientists who didn't give up on online surveys 10+ years ago. Kids in my high school were using survey bots to make money, and the bot detectors were always a step behind!
🧪 A new AI agent successfully bypasses 99.8% of survey bot detectors. By simulating human keystrokes and typos, the tool demonstrates how easily synthetic respondents can poison scientific data and manipulate polling results.
