Flu shot this afternoon at work (my employer provides) and then a covid shot on Saturday. So I expect to be feeling kind of run down the next few days. Worth it.

My work day lunch at my desk: a white bowl with a salad in it, topped by a slice of sourdough bread I made from scratch. Nice crumb with a good scattering of the sourdough-typical holes.

It does! I'm shocked (and a little bit insulted) that Husband and Kid have not emerged from their beds. (Although more warm cheese scones for me, so really I win either way.) About to make some Thai curry pumpkin soup, so throwing some pumpkin in the oven to roast.

When Kid was little he assumed any grown up sitting alone must be in want of a small child and a book and did his level best to leave no adult behind.
