Who doesn't love Christmas?? Well, me actually, I'm a giant Grinch. But it's Christmas in July week or whatever and my next middle grade horror book, CARNIVOROUS CONIFERS, set around Christmastime, comes out tomorrow! The 2nd in my Stein's Monsters series, but is standalone. For fans of Goosebumps!

Got the ebook, just read the first story, now I'm on here to say this is a *great* opportunity to support a very worthy cause while treating yourself to some !!!!!!!!!!!!!! writing.

Also my god it is such a baller move to have a whole book out you only occasionally make available. So tantalizing.

I'm really good at letting emails sit in my inbox until I "have the time" to handle them, then taking all of 30 seconds to reply when I finally get around to it

Every year I stay up past midnight to see my birthday in, listen to music I used to love and become a total head case for an hour or so before finally going to bed haha. Totally normal things I'm sure, no concerns about getting old or anything, obv

For the past 4 years I've promised myself I would prioritize my own writing and write more than the year before. Somehow I've written less each new year, with this year by far the worst. It's almost impressive in a way

Built a compost bin over the weekend and immediately found enough materials to fill it completely, which was kinda satisfying. Domestic yard and garden stuff is my life right now I guess and it's not bad?

They took down a juggernaut. Wow.
Danny Casper, Luc Violette, Ben Richardson, Aidan Oldenburg

They need to qualify the country in, but that’s the USA curling team for the 2026 Olympics

Spent the afternoon organizing all the native perennial seeds my wife and I collected from our rain garden. Hopefully we can expand the garden with these. Nature!

The last watermelon harvested from our garden was a monster, and perhaps the best tasting watermelon I've ever had. Kinda sad we have to wait until next year to grow more.
