Last week, I attended the Rabbis for Ceasefire Yizkor service. It was incredible to be surrounded by fellow New Yorkers, many of whom are Jewish like me, in mourning for Palestine.

Today marks 2 years of this war. 70 years since the occupation began. Ceasefire now.

Last year, I saw a therapist for 8 weeks who I didn't think was a great fit, but I hoped could still help. Turned out, she didn't believe in abortion or trans rights. I shouldn't even have known that, but it was a HUGE values misalignment.

Therapists are in even higher demand right now so they may not even respond when you reach out due to a full waitlist. That is on them not you. Finding a therapist who is right for you is difficult. You’re unlikely to find them on your first try.

Totally possible, and of course they'll be better if those AI tools are made for, and better yet by, disabled users!

My gripe is directed towards those developers and PMs who won't do the basic a11y testing or development, and now use "AI tho" as an excuse for their ablelist behavior 👀
