The publicly funded stadium that solved *ALL* of Nevada’s financial woes as promised…

Meanwhile in reality: Elko County School district, $11M deficit; Washoe County School District, $18M deficit; Douglas County School District, $6M deficit; and White Pine County School District, $1M deficit.

While we appreciate Governor Lombardo giving @nsea.bsky.social credit for helping to kill the #HollywoodHandout, we think he should place more blame on Jeremy Aguero, an unregistered lobbyist, who clearly didn't lobby hard enough behind the scenes to discredit the non-partisan fiscal staff. #NVLeg

🚨Endorsement: Educators trust @zconine.bsky.social because he has always defended Nevada’s public schools and the people who make them work. He has been a good steward of public dollars and understands that protecting those dollars is essential to protecting public education.

Them: When are you gonna stop taking swipes at Jeremy Aguero for being an unregistered lobbyist?

What’s the point of all those roids if you can’t do one bloody pull up?

Joe Everyman over here believing that what an airport needs is more body odor.
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

After-the-fact compliance does not cure the original violation. The Act requires registration prior to engaging in lobbying, so legislators and the public have transparency at the time influence is being exerted. #NVLeg
Today, we again urged the LCB to follow the law: suspected violations must be reported to both the Attorney General and Legislative Commission. We’re requesting confirmation of when those reports were made to both entities and when the Commission will take it up. #NVLeg

"Marks says NSEA's complaint to LCB “was more about the pattern we’ve seen since 2023” and the “powers that be that believe they’re above the law,” than just about Sandoval, Aguero, & Vellardita. “While the response to our complaint from LCB was largely non-responsive, they did confirm a violation."

It’s a low bar but every democratic presidential candidate’s platform must include sandblasting that shit off the building.
SCOOP: Sources tell me Donald Trump's name was added to the exterior of the US Institute of Peace building ahead of Thursday's peace agreement signing between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which will be held inside the building. Confirming if it's been officially renamed.

So the Legislative Counsel Bureau confirmed that Brian Sandoval and Jeremy Aguero were unregistered lobbyists for most, if not all of the Special Session and just registered once a complaint had been filed…

No harm, no foul, I guess. That’s just #TheNevadaWay
