I don't talk about mental health enough, but 2025 was a big year for me.

I started going to therapy (ADHD, shitty childhood, life, etc)
Got diagnosed with depression.
Started treatment for depression.

Mental health has been a struggle for as long as I can remember, but it's getting easier.

If my dog doesn't see me leave the room to go to bed (like when she's asleep already), she'll bark when she wakes up.
So every night I have to tell her that I'm going to bed. It's simultaneously cute, and extremely silly.

The most frustrating part of the Larian AI stuff is that it's painfully obvious most people don't know, or don't care how AI works.

Gen AI is trained by stealing artist's work and smashing a bunch of shit together. It's not illegal (TBD, I guess), but it is unethical and immoral.

Why is the high in Phoenix today 80°? It's 11 days 'til Christmas, what do you mean it's hotter here than summer in Alaska??

This was worth the money to watch on Dropout, and it's absolutely worth it now that it's free on YouTube.
Pissing Out Cancer, my comedy special produced by and formerly exclusively on Dropout.tv is now available for free and in full on YouTube.

Thank you so much to Dropout for being chill and letting me write this into my contract!

I cannot express how excited I am for a new Star Wars: The Old Republic game.

One of my dumber disorders is Paradoxical Insomnia, or Sleep Misperception, which is where I've been asleep but I don't know it, so every time I'm awake at night I have to check the time to see if I've actually slept or not. It's so stupid.

Ralph (and Austin, Lucy, and Jake) are just too good at what they do.

Thanks for the great content, @skillup.bsky.social, and for launching an excellent news site :)

VGHF is an awesome org that does a lot with a little. If you're able to contribute, that would be stupendous.

Sites like VGHF and Wikipedia are critical because they're some of a few orgs providing free, accurate information. I donate throughout the year but wanted to give a little extra too.

My wife and I decided to stop getting each other gifts for holidays a couple years ago and it's been so nice. Not being pressured to spend money is a great gift itself.

I usually make her a card, maybe write a poem, and cook dinner and it's genuinely better without having to give a gift.

I need an episode of Mythbusters or Deadliest Warrior to test the lethality of household objects. Like, barring knives, should I go for the cast iron pan? Or maybe something glass and heavy is better? A wildcard, like a mini fridge?

I want answers.

I've been in to computers since I played Tonka Construction. In high school I got to go to a trade school for half my day and took a computer and electronics class. That landed me an internship in IT and that's where I've been for 14 years now.

I enjoy the field, but hate who you have to work for.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

There's like a one month window where the sunrise and birds chirping wakes me up on time and it's so delightful.

I guess it technically happens for two months, once in the fall and again in spring, but I digress.

What an insane thing to have in your patch notes, Outer Worlds 2

Bomb Suit unique armor now reduces explosive damage taken instead of reduce explosive damage dealt

Someone Cell: Deathwatch was fun. Liev Schreiber did great and after his first episode I mostly forgot he wasn't the original VA.

I saw a lot of people (reddit) panning it because it didn't feature enough stealth and yeah, but how many people are going to watch that?

Looking forward to season 2.

When We Were Young was a great experience. Got to see a ton of bands I probably wouldn't have otherwise and met some cool people.

Not that it matters, but here's who I saw:

Holding Absence - second time seeing them. Crazy that only the singer's visa was approved

There's something so satisfying about walking around with a giant chip on your shoulder knowing no one can do anything about it.

This is a Ghost of Yōtei skeet.

Seeing music in arenas sucks.

but Motionless in White and Bring Me the Horizon still rip, even if the venue is trash.
