it's clear that zero is the type of guy that covers up his problems with humor (as shown in his lines), but he takes the topic of dawnstar with ignorance which is quite interesting. when seeing dawnstar, he assumes it's his imagination. and dawnstar chooses not to talk abt him as much as possible

adding onto this, zero most likely HATES being a thief (especially bcus of how he talks of thieves in one of his outlawed lines) and probably doesn't want to acknowledge that the person who made him turn into thievery is his coworker

im guessing that dawnstar caused the 'unlucky circumstance' that caused zero to pursue being a thief instead of remaining a scientist thus blocking each other out from their memories, because they recognize each other from an unfortunate event

(thread) i NEED dawnzero lore NOW!! I'm assuming pre mercenary work dawnstar was zeros coworker or related to each other. it's implied that dawnstar met zero pre transition and to me, zero is shutting out memories of downstairs, as his face gets pissed after mentioning dawnstar in the interview

there's nothing more guilt causing for me is taking a sick leave from school due to a panic attack,, thank goodness i experienced physical pain so i can leave bcus if i just said i had a panic attack instead of having headache, stomach pain, shortness of breath my ass is not going home
