A couple years ago I decided to try my hand at making a cross-body bag. I lined it with a favorite T-shirt that had finally fallen apart, and I use it a LOT. I also learned a lot.

I had this amazing dream that led me to a story idea. Anyone else get a lot of inspiration from crazy-realistic dreams? Like, it feels as though you watched scenes from a movie and it makes you wake up and go "I must write that down"?

This was a project I did for my best friend for Christmas! I learned loads, including how to be mindful of shadows and how to keep your canvas tight in a hoop.

All three pieces finished and laid side by side.

The first is the skull without a top with coffee being poured into it from above. The second is the skull mug, and features a hand bursting out from the coffee within the mug, holding a whole coffee bean between its forefinger and thumb. The third is a regular coffee cup with a skeleton hand bursting out of the coffee in a 'peace' sign while holding a whole coffee bean between its outstretched fingers.

Flashback to the Reading Blanket I made in 2023. I marked all the books I read for an entire year, and as I finished books I would add them to the blanket. I learned so much, especially the importance of counting your stitches 😅

These are my girls. Keata is a ten year-old Russian Blue mixed with tabby (you only see her stripes in the sun). Kamee is a twelve year-old black and white Maine Coone mix (I think with a tuxedo mom). I've had them both since they were teeny kittens!!

I made this set for my mother in law using a pattern/stencil. I deviated quite a bit, but seeing as it was my second ever embroidery project (the first being the necklaces) I was very happy with how it turned out!
