Helen Richey was the first woman pilot hired by a US commercial airline (1934). The all-male pilots’ union pressured the airline to remove her, claiming women were “temperamentally unfit” to fly in bad weather.

Das Wetter gestaltet sich heute eher launisch. Zunächst ziehen immer wieder Regenschauer übers Land. Ab dem Mittag regnet es sich dann im Westen und Südwesten so richtig ein, ansonsten werden die Regenpausen aber länger. Frieren muss man bei Höchstwerten zwischen 5 und 12 Grad jedoch kaum noch.
