There's an important thing from the late 2000s internet that seems to be lost on some people today and that is:

Don't Feed the Trolls.

Silently block them and move on.
Don't give them the response they're looking for.
Don't dignify them with a response.
They are not worth your time or your energy.

The first posts from each of the “government” accounts were overt trolling. They are only here to troll and ensure the strange propaganda reaches more eyes thru counter rage-posts. I say this with reluctance as I yearn for the days when government accounts were for facts. CYA and block.

continuation of the saga:

it wasn't the io board's fault

replaced mobo and keyboard because KB backlight was shorting it out (mobo had wrong cpu therefore also needing a replace)

it's still dead when everything's connected but disconnecting backlight revives it
