Was dragged to an obligatory social thing this morning, energy's still dead-dead.

Wanted to get back into ZA, but I'd either be extra punchy/spicy, or absolute zombie, no in-between.

Probably go have a lie-down after dinner, keep having false starts just trying to do anything.

Yeah, feels like I'm going nuts 'coz I've definitely seen people posting screenshots of the feature (some of them definitely abusing it/bad-faith listing), but I can never reproduce despite trying multiple browsers, cache clear, etc.

It's definitely not there for everyone though (maybe geoip?), or might be browser specific. Just pulled it up on chrome (android and desktop), don't have the "view subscribers" button.

Noticed a minor issue with the end screen transition on the first PLZA vid, but I have to get to bed and don't have time to reupload the whole thing for what amounts to a frame or two inaccuracy.

Gotta be up at diurnal-people hours, and editing and other things took up my time today. So unfortunately I don't get to keep playing ZA and adding to my buffer right this second, but I'm rarin' to get back to it tomorrow afternoon/evening!

(I also made myself a basic end screen template!)

The interesting thing about starting a new Let's Play is dialing in the audio balance between game and voice.

Once I find a solid average I can usually just set the game level and use that consistently every vid thereafter, but I'm real dynamic sometimes, so I still occasionally have to adjust me.

I feel that, I put out a cute "as a software developer this is a plausible reason we can't go back from ZA" vid and some of the comments are nice/constructive, but there are also the fair number of toxic "Gamefreak Bad"/"small indie company" comments and I'm like "get outta here with that."

Oh nothing special yet, got stud earrings, the black fingerless gloves from the first mall (ow my wallet), and some boots that kinda go with the original pants. Ditched the jacket and hat for now.

Will hopefully have something screenshot worthy tomorrow (or I'll go snip one out of my footage)

It's super good so far, I just unintentionally ended up recording 30 minutes longer than expected because I found one of the cheap fashion districts haha.

Much as I'd love to keep going, 4+ hours of recording ZA is about all I can handle, and my body is making me very aware I'm overtaxed.

So that's an early night (by my messed up standards), hope to have the first PLZA vid out Saturday (and then once or twice a week thereafter).

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.

So that first area we walk by is *super* expensive, but the north east mall is really cheap, and that cost me thirty minutes buying things that individually look good, but somehow manage not to form a cohesive outfit yet lol.

(It's mostly because I don't have new pants/hat yet.)

I'm *really* liking a lot of the changes in ZA. Battle in general is a lot more fluid (to the point that using items in combat feels weird), they have a person return the PokeBalls you whiffed, you can catch *other Pokémon* while in combat, and you can use fire moves to burn bushes instead of Cut.

Like, I wanted to practice French in the Pokemon equivalent of Paris. Thought it would be interesting, but I'm super rusty and this isn't textbook (as I should have remembered from X).

Playing in English feels "boring", "safe", but it should make for a better Let's Play.
