Brought him home on a foster-to-adopt trial & tried calling him Tech. He responded immediately.

Yeah, he’s not deaf, he just didn’t know you were talking to him bc his name was Tech for 13 YEARS. 🤦🏻‍♀️

He & Rosie shared a Gotcha Day. My Little Mans lived to be 15. Senior dogs are the best.

When I finally found him, he was at a rescue near me. They had renamed him Harrison.

They told me they thought he’s deaf. I asked if he knew any cues in ASL. They had no idea. I signed “sit,” “down,” and “come” to him. Nothing.

I’d always said I didn’t want a boy dog.
