frankly insane that 20-ish years ago some devs in japan said "how do we adapt mystery dungeon for pokemon," someone said "why don't we have the player be a pokemon," and as a direct result i now wear a collar and have about 5 online friends that identify as the mythical pokemon mew

what the hell apparently Yuzu Koshiro also did the music for it. I'm not sure about the 7D3 tracks, but you can definitely hear the PC-88 in the first game.

idly thinking about 7th Dragon 3 for some reason, and how it was a kinda neat EO-ish type thing with custom party members and time travel and all

And then the game required me to make/have two extra parties of units to explore three paths of a dungeon at once and I lost interest.

today's coworker had kindergarteners watch 15 minutes of kingdom hearts cutscenes bc she typed in "toy story 3 full movie". she cleaned the entire classroom with no reaction to sora being on the tv and only switched it once she was done. which was also right after the word 'xehanort' was said

My first thought was Lightning Returns: a game that sorely wishes it was Majora's Mask. But Pokemon SwSh's story and especially endgame was so nonsense I didn't bother with postgame. I only finished it probably because I was playing it together with a friend.

Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time

thinking about that "touch synaesthesia" comic Nojo did once, that seemed to be about how they can easily feel things from looking at art or certain animals (at least if I read it right anyway)

... and the fact I sometimes get weird phantoms from seeing art of characters with multiple eyes. Hmm.
